A Four-Year Tradition: Inside Our Annual Wreath Workshop With Teknion

For the fourth year in a row, we have the joy of hosting one of our favorite holiday traditions: a private wreath-making workshop with the incredible team at Teknion, one of Washington, DC’s leading design firms.

If you’re not familiar, Teknion is a major player in the architecture and design world. Their work shapes some of the most innovative commercial interiors across the country — from tech-forward offices to hospitality spaces that blend beauty and function. Their philosophy centers on human-centered design, thoughtful materials, and seamless collaboration, which is exactly why our partnership works so well. They understand the power of craftsmanship, detail, and creating experiences that feel good to the people inside them.

And that’s exactly what this workshop is all about.

Every year, we gather Teknion’s clients, designers, and collaborators in their gorgeous downtown DC showroom — a sleek, light-filled space that feels equal parts workplace and gallery. With cocktails in hand and holiday bites circulating, the energy is always high. And we have to admit… there’s always a bit of friendly competition.

No one wants to be out-designed by the designer standing next to them.
We’ve seen mood boards pulled up on phones, ribbon color debates, and wreaths so sculptural they could double as modern art.
