Deliveries

Do you offer same-day delivery?

At the moment we are only able to offer deliveries on Wednesdays and Fridays, with the deadline for orders set at 5pm the day prior. These policies allow us to ensure we have plenty of fresh flowers and time to fulfill orders before we hand them off to our trusty delivery helpers. Thank you for understanding.

What time will my delivery arrive?

We strive to get you your flowers between 12-3 p.m. At this time we are unable to provide an exact estimate due to factors beyond our control. You will receive an order confirmation once the item has been delivered. Please add your phone number to the order at the end of checkout if you would like a text notification as well. If you need your order by a certain time, please leave a note for us at checkout.

What type of flowers will I receive?

One of our favorite parts of working with fresh, local flowers is allowing the season to dictate the blooms. We're happy to take requests, but please note that all availability is subject to change on a day-to-day basis.

Can I pick up flowers at the shop to avoid a delivery fee?

Absolutely! Simply choose the pick up option at check to arrange a date that is convenient for you.

Can you deliver on a day that's not Wednesday or Friday?

At the moment we only offer deliveries on those two days. Our delivery schedule coincides with restocks from our farmers to ensure that you get the freshest blooms possible.

Can my delivery be left inside my building or at the front desk?

Due to the current health crisis, we are unable to enter buildings or leave bouquets inside at the front desk as not to compromise the health of our delivery drivers (or our customers!). You will receive an email order confirmation once the item has been delivered. Please add your phone number to the order at the end of checkout if you would like a text notification as well.

What if the recipient is not home at the time of delivery?

We will make every attempt to get an order in the recipient's hands. In the event they are not home, we will leave the delivery in a safe place and text them that it has arrived.

Quality Standards

How long will my flowers last?

Some flower varieties have a longer vase life than others, but you can expect your flowers to look fresh for three days at the very least. Every bouquet comes with a care card and flower food that helps you extend their life. 

Can you please explain your pricing?

We work with the highest quality florals available locally. Our rates are competitive with other florists and allow us to provide our management, design and delivery teams a living wage. 

Are your plants and flowers pet-friendly?

We're unable to guarantee pet-friendly flowers in our bouquets due to the nature of seasonality and local availability. We do our best to offer advice on pet-friendly plants based on the information we have, but always encourage customers to do their own research before making any plant purchases if they have furry friends at home.

What is your refund policy on flowers?

Flowers, by nature, vary in color and size every season. If you are unhappy with the composition or size of your bouquet, please let us know and we will make it right.

Where do you source your flowers?

During the growing season, we work with certified local farms in Maryland and Virginia to ensure the freshest blooms for your arrangements and floral designs. In the wintertime, we work with a local importer.

Will my bouquet or plant look like the one pictured on your website or Instagram photo?

No two plants or flowers look exactly alike, which is exactly why we love working with them! For this reason, we are unable to guarantee exact similarities; please note that all photos are meant to serve as inspiration and reference points. 


Do you offer guarantees for flowers or plants?

We work diligently to meet all of your requests and expectations. Due to the perishable and seasonal nature of our products, we are unable to offer returns or refunds on live plant or floral goods; however, if you are unsatisfied with the quality of your bouquet or plant, please do let us know and we will make it right.

Workshops

Can I bring my own bowl / flowers / plants / etc. to a workshop?

It's requested that you use our provided materials to allow for consistency and ease with instruction.

Can I bring alcohol?

You may bring your own beverages, we just ask that you also provide any serving ware and be respectful of the larger group.

Do you host workshops for private groups, and will you come to us?

Yes, and it's one of our favorite services ever! We have a 10-person minimum for private in-person workshops, and a 6-person minimum for private virtual workshops, which includes materials. If you'd like us to teach at a location of your choice, there is an additional 10 percent transportation fee.

Is there a maximum to the number of people you can teach?

We believe the more the merrier. We've led workshops for groups of up to 100 and are happy to create a customized package for your particular event. An additional instructor fee may apply for larger groups.

Forever Yours

Can I request specific flowers for my bouquet / centerpiece / etc.?

We will do our best to honor your request for a specific flower or color, though due to the nature of the product we cannot make guarantees. Our color collections have been chosen for their timeless appeal and are arranged with current wedding trends in mind for flowers you'll remember fondly for years to come. Please note any allergies or strong aversions at checkout and we will be sure to avoid them.

When should I place my order, and is there a cut off date?

We recommend placing your order at least 30 days in advance of your event. Your final selections must be made at least seven days prior to the delivery or pickup date. Orders placed less than 7 days in advance may incur a rush fee. It is advised that you plan to receive your florals the day-of the event or the day before.

Can we meet in person to discuss my order?

Any questions or design preferences should be expressed over email before placing your order. In-person and phone consultations are unavailable for our Forever Yours collections.

Is there an order minimum?

Please note that we have a $300 minimum for Forever Yours orders. If your order does not meet $300, there will be a $50 fee. You are welcome to mix and match between collections, though please be advised that our $300 minimum applies per color collection.

What is your delivery policy?

We service addresses within 7 miles of D.C. for a $50 fee. (See the "Deliveries" section above for a full list of zip codes). Please contact us if your location lies beyond our delivery range as an additional fee may apply. We are unable to deliver to more than one location.

Your items will arrive clearly labeled in water, packed safely and securely in disposable packaging. Our team is not responsible for unpacking or setting up any items. She Loves Me is not responsible for the condition of flowers after they have been delivered. 

All delivery fees are waved if you pick up your items from our shop.

Can you set up the flowers when you deliver them?

Our team is unable to unpack or install any items. It's advised that you designate a friend or family member to be in charge of arranging your flowers -- they are often very eager to help! If you desire additional elements such as an arch or mantle arrangement, please consider our full-service wedding offering which begins at $4,000. 

What if my plans change?

You may cancel your items up to 30 days prior to the event date. After 30 days, all payments are non-refundable.
