A La Carte Terms and Conditions

She Loves Me strives to make your event as beautiful as possible as we are able using our floral expertise. By placing your order and completing payment you agree to the Terms and Conditions set below. If you have any questions or concerns about any of the terms, please email events@shelovesme.com.

  

General Terms and Conditions

Payment: Payment is due in-full at the time of checkout via our website. There is a $300 minimum in place for a la carte purchases.

Timeline: You must place your order at least 14 days prior to the date of your event and no more than 6 months prior to the date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your order for a full refund up to 30 days prior to the event date minus a 10 percent convenience fee. Cancellations made after 30 days will receive a merchandise credit in the full amount that can be applied to any future orders within 1 year.

Rescheduling: If the event needs to be rescheduled for any force majeure reason (including, but not limited to, acts of God, severe weather, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, disease or other natural disasters, pandemics, wars, riots, insurrections, acts or threats of terrorism, and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected) She Loves Me will issue a merchandise credit for the full amount of the original order total. Subject to availability, event florals can be repurchased when a rescheduled date has been confirmed. 

Communication: In an effort to keep our services more affordable, we have streamlined the floral ordering process and provide extensive FAQ resources on our website. We highly recommend you review these first before reaching out as there is limited direct communication with our studio for our a la carte services. 

If you have a question that is not addressed on the FAQ page, we offer one 15 minute clarity call before you make a purchase. All future questions should be directed over email.

A member of our events team will be in touch 14 days out from your event to confirm any additional details and collect timeline information. If you stop by one of our shop locations we cannot guarantee a member of our staff will be able to discuss details of your event. Currently, we do not offer any in-person meetings to discuss a la carte florals and services.

Changes and additions: In an effort to simplify the ordering process and save you time, we allow one opportunity for any changes 14 days from your event when an event specialist reaches out to confirm details. 

After that point we will do our best to accommodate any adjustments, but we cannot guarantee exact flowers or hard goods will be available and a $100 rush fee will be added. Payment for any additions will be invoiced separately and must be paid at the time of ordering the requested change.

Inspiration images: We cannot and will not produce ‘exact’ replicas of images provided by client or any other source. At times, we cannot match exact/precise colors or flower styles because of the seasons and other climate variables, so the client acknowledges that any approved inspiration boards are for reference purposes only and represent a range of color palette and flower choices. 

Pick Up: If you or a designated representative are picking up any flowers from our shop for your event, you or your designated representative assume responsibility for the condition of goods upon pickup. We cannot offer refunds if you feel the flowers did not hold up as expected during transportation or event exposure. To keep your flowers fresh, keep them in a cool environment out of direct sunlight and away from direct airflow or heat sources. Keep an eye on water levels and replenish with room temperature water often.

Delivery: Please thoroughly inspect your flower order for any damaged or missing items and alert us within 1 hour of receiving event items if you have any questions or concerns. Please exercise caution when accepting and moving fresh floral arrangements. She Loves Me is not responsible for any damage claims outside of the 1 hour window, during or after additional transportation of items outside of the original delivery location, or during or after event exposure. 

Once delivery of floral elements is complete, we may leave the premises and are no longer responsible for any additional design elements, lighting candles, decorating cake, movement or reallocation of florals, etc. that gets added last minute or by another vendor.

Delivery of florals to multiple locations may incur additional delivery fees per requested delivery location. Any changes to the requested delivery location, requests to add additional delivery stops, or requests to deliver a portion of the ordered flowers to an additional location must be communicated with the She Loves Me event team at least 14 days in advance of the event date. Our delivery drivers are unable to accommodate day-of location change requests, requests to add additional delivery stops, or requests to deliver a portion of the ordered flowers to an additional location. 

Timing: Your order will arrive sometime between 11am-4pm. We are able to narrow that down to a 2-hour window for an additional fee. Deliveries outside of that window will likewise incur an additional fee.

Venue Guidelines: Because we do not offer set up, Unless previously agreed upon, She Loves Me does not offer installation or set up services for a la carte event florals. It is your responsibility to communicate and coordinate a hand-off with our delivery driver at the venue and/or the designated person to receive the flowers. A contact name and phone number must be provided for the person receiving the delivery at the venue. You will be responsible for making any necessary accommodations, approvals, and communications with the venue regarding timelines and delivery access.

You understand and agree that you will abide by the venue guidelines or rules that are outside our control (i.e. candle restrictions, loose flowers or petal restrictions, etc.). You agree to hold us harmless for the impact of such guidelines or rules that may have impacted the finished floral product/installation due to unknown restrictions. 

We are not responsible for any fees charged by the venue due to cleaning, damages, etc. All venue fees are the responsibility of the client to pay.

Hardgoods: With the exception of the altar rental, all vases and hard goods are yours to keep at the conclusion of your event. A member of our team will not return at the conclusion of the event to collect florals or hardgoods.

Candles: We are not responsible for lighting candles for the event. It is the client, planner, designated person, or venue’s responsibility to provide lighters and light all candle elements for the event as She Loves Me is not required to stay beyond the time necessary for set-up, which is typically several hours before candles need to be lit. Please make appropriate accommodations for candle lighting.

Elements of Nature: She Loves Me is not responsible for any damages or limitations due to extenuating and uncontrollable natural circumstances such as wind, heat, cold, fire, rain, hail, snow, etc., or due to wedding guests or staff after we leave. We will do our best to make necessary adjustments to set-up all design elements as proposed, but cannot guarantee the design details will be completed as order specifies (i.e. candles staying lit or centerpieces staying up in wind, flower freshness in extreme heat, cold, rain, fire, etc.).

Compliance: All work shall be completed in a professional manner and within all state and local building codes and other applicable laws. She Loves Me warrants that it is adequately insured against loss or injury as a result of She Loves Me's actions.

Style: Client has spent a satisfactory amount of time reviewing our work and has a reasonable expectation that we will perform the services in a similar manner and style.

Consistency: We will use reasonable efforts to ensure your desired services are produced in a style and manner consistent with our current portfolio and we will try to incorporate any reasonable suggestions made by the client. You understand and agree that:

Floral services are often a subjective art and the vendor has a unique vision, with an ever-evolving style and technique;

  • The vendor will use its artistic judgment when providing services for client, which may not include strict adherence to client’s suggestions;
  • Although vendor will use reasonable efforts to incorporate client’s suggestions and desires when providing client with the services, vendor shall have final say regarding the aesthetic judgment and artistic quality of the services;
  • Dissatisfaction with vendor's aesthetic judgment or artistic ability are not valid reasons for termination of this agreement or request of any monies returned

This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia and supersedes any prior understanding or representation of any kind preceding the date of this agreement. There are no other promises, conditions, understandings, or other agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this agreement.

Client agrees that client shall not have the right to sue for or collect, and She Loves Me shall never have any liability or responsibility whatsoever for, any consequential or indirect damages, whether proximately or remotely related to any default of She Loves Me under this contract, or any act, omission or negligence of She Loves, its agents or employees, and Client hereby waives any and all such rights.
